Enugu state is the capital of the Eastern region and faced with extreme poverty, and widespread insecurity and sluggish economy which heavily dependent on fluctuating oil revenue. It's obvious that the state need a leader who has vast experience of interaction and quality of leadership to succeed the current administration in order to consolidate the peace and provide viable option for an economic development of the state.
It's high time for the generality of the masses to vote the right candidate who will find suitable solutions to the current security situation in the state. The cogent reason Ndi-Enugu endorsed Peter Mbah as their preferred next governor among all the candidates is the fact that his political maturity and his symbol of unity being exhibited with friends and political associates in both those who supported him during the primary and those who even never wanted and went ahead to campaigned against him.
Let me reiterate without mincing words the fact that Enugu needs a leader who has the talent and sheer experience to initiate sound economic policy for the economy growth and development. Therefore, it's suffice to note that the interest of Ndi-Enugu supercedes personal interest, if we look at the track record of all of the candidates. Dr. Peter Mbah has the best record in everything, especially in terms of delivery a dividends of democracy and also has the best cardinal agenda's because he builds his campaign promises based on his success stories in the private sector where he grew an Oil firm that oversaw successful reforms in the downstream sector.
Dr. Mbah has the capacity to govern and overcome the main problem of the state which is abject poverty, and the high rate of unemployment, and other sundry issues. I have never come across a sound, economic policy akin to that of Peter Mbah which he promised to promote economic diversification and linkages between agriculture, industry and micro and small enterprises all three of which have great prospect for employment generation. What an intelligent idea! He will increase the flow of direct foreign investment into the non oil sector.
Conclusively, we hope for a new Enugu state in the next political dispensation in due course under the sterling leadership of Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the incoming governor of Enugu state, Insha Allahu.
