Enugu North Senate: Traders Echo Support For Ugwuanyi. "Only Gburugburu We Know"

Over 15,000 Traders and other citizens of Enugu North Senatorial Zone Echoed Support for Ugwuanyi.

Findings from the Enugu North Canvassers Market Tour indicate that over 95% of traders in the four local government areas (Udenu, Igbo-Etiti, Uzo-Uwani and Igbo-Eze South) visited so far by the group are strongly in support of Governor Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi for Senate Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

It is evident that the larger population of the voters in Nsukka zone are ready and willing to vote for Ugwuanyi in the 2023 Senatorial election. This could be vividly seen from the interviews granted to some traders, especially women in the markets. They were all excited to hear about Ugwuanyi's senatorial bid and happily promised to vote for him as they cheered and danced with the members of Enugu North Canvassers for coming to their respective markets to rub shoulders with them.

Every tour to each of the markets served as an avenue for the group to canvas for votes for Gburugburu and also sensitise electorates on the need to vote for Ugwuanyi and other PDP candidates. It also created an opportunity for the group to silently carry out acceptability tests for PDP candidates in Enugu state. The results obtained from the markets in the four local government areas that have over 15,000 capacity in total were fascinating and noteworthy as PDP received over 95% acceptability rate in Enugu state.

The tour to the respective markets in the four local government areas; Orie Orba, Nkwo-Ogbede, Eke-Abbi, Eke-Ugbene Ajima and Nkwo-Ibagwa is part of the group's campaign plan for the Governor and other candidates of the People's Democratic Party in Enugu state to ensure that the party wins with a larger margin in the 2023 general elections.
