Enormous and immense crowd yesterday as the members of Enugu North Canvassers under the leadership of Comr. Chidimma Domitila Ozioko came in their numbers to welcome the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to Nsukka Local Government Area.

The group, who came out in large numbers pledged to canvass, project and deliver their votes for the senatorial candidate at the 2023 general elections.They presented a symbolic gift of art made by one of them to the governor while commending him for running an inclusive and responsive government, stressing that they would continue to partner with the party, and all relevant stakeholders for more developmental projects in the zone.

Commending Ugwuanyi for the continuous accessibility, sustainability of peace and security in the state, which has brought unprecedented development in the rural areas of the zone, inline with his agenda for the state. The leader of the group, Comr. Chidimma Domitila Ozioko promised that they will continue to sensitize market men and women, the uneducated on voters education so that no votes would be lost to opposition parties in the zone.

In admonishment and admiration, the Governor who was awestruck showered praises and compliments to the group for their steadfastness and loyalty to the cause, while assuring them of his open doors, solidarity and camaraderie spirit to the group.

Enugu North Canvassers is a conglomerate of people from the six local government area of Enugu North Senatorial zone, who are majorly progressive youths.

Also present at the occasion were the deputy director general and Igbo-Etiti LGA coordinator, comr. Anthony Ugwu (Tonero), Nsukka LGA coordinator comr. Olisa Igwe, Udenu LGA coordinator, comr.  Ernest Eze, Igbo-Eze North LGA coordinator, comr. Uchenna Ujah, Uzo-Uwani LGA coordinator, comr. Luminous Ejiofor and other development centers/ward coordinators.
