A leader must meet the purposeful criteria in order to meet the people's needs and provide solutions to their problems.. A leader's purpose is the compass that keeps them moving in the right direction during times of uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
As a grassroots politician, he’s with the people, has pursued their needs and challenges vigorously as usual, and has continued to sustain the tempo to date. We gave Obieze our mandate to represent us in 2015 and 2019, respectively, and he undoubtedly utilized it in making sure he gave us the very best from the state Assembly.
As we are urged to "please extend and maintain that support through 2023 so that we can continue in this line of purposeful representation greased with people-first policies and cum orientation," Here are the reasons Obieze's representation was termed representation beyond the maze": Beyond the presentation of people-oriented bills and motions in the State House, which are the very basic functions of a legislator, Hon. Obieze has thus far gone beyond his circumference to make this possible;

* Offered scholarships to over 30 secondary school students who he met inadvertently while driving through Ezeagu during school hours, and who were not in school because of financial restraints; he ensured they went back to school. (Note: This is different from his annual scholarship/bursary awards for students.)
* Assisted and ensured the employment of a good number of Ezeagu sons and Daughters in the Enugu State Ministry of Transport.
* In August 2017, 120 youths from Ezeagu were trained in various value chains in agriculture by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture at the Federal College of Agriculture in Ishiagu. After the program, they were given stipends and agricultural (plant) seedlings for a start-up.
* To boost the local economy of Ezeagu, 10 women traders were selected from each major market in Ezeagu, totaling 130 people, and supported with funds (not to be paid back) to boost their trade(s).
* In December 2019, 9 elderly Ezeagu men and women underwent eye surgery for glaucoma and cataracts at Parklane Specialist Hospital in Enugu.
* Periodic medical outreach to our sick ones in the village who may not have what it takes to seek proper medical care for their conditions
*Twice a year, he engages the widows of Ezeagu from selected wards and villages, talks with them, and delivers food items worth millions for their feeding and welfare.
* Makes regular visits to the National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu, Parklane General Hospital, and UNTH Enugu to identify Ezeagu patients who have been discharged but are unable to pay their hospital bills. He clears their bills and sometimes provides transportation to convey them home.
* And the list goes on!
Remember, these are his extracurricular activities in response to our people's wants and needs while keeping robust legislation for our people. Recall that the state House of Assembly has no statutory budget.
Obiezes' candidacy is distinguished by competence, selflessness, the people-first policy, quality representation, tested and proven, a solid track record, and capacity.
