… as frontline support group, Peter Mbah Support Vanguard boasts of cells in polling units across the state.

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah has stated that his administration, if elected in 2023, will grow the economy in an unprecedented manner.

Dr. Mbah made this known during a solidarity visit by the frontline pro-PDP campaign group in the state, the Peter Mbah Support Vanguard (PMSV), at his residence in Enugu, on Monday.
Expressing worry over the state of national economic challenges, the industrialist promised to create massive jobs that will discourage the youths from leaving the country.

Mbah maintained that he had identified key sectors that will enhance economic development, productivity and make the state stands out, saying he would stem the tide of insecurity, dearth of jobs, and infrastructural deficits in the state.

Responding to the massive endorsement from the group, Mbah said he was overwhelmed by the number dignitaries that made up the group, stressing that the ownership of the project had already been taken by them through their comprehensive outreaches in the state.
He lauded the past and present administrations in the state for creating enabling platform, such as new infrastructure that will enable his administration to operate and deliver on his promises.

Earlier, the group had extolled Mbah’s leadership qualities, stressing that his unexampled managerial qualities and experiences have given new hope to the people of the state.

The group pledged their unalloyed support, assuring him of their unflinching commitment to deliver hundreds of thousands of votes to him at the polls.
Commending Mbah’s uncommon leadership capacity and competence across the private and public sectors, the influential group said Mbah had shown signs that he would be the best governor not only in the state but in the nation as a whole through the agenda he had presented to the electorate.

Speaking, the Director General of the group, Dr. Reuben Onyishi, insisted that Mbah remains the best among the candidates vying for the election in the state.

Dr. Onyishi further added that the state had already settled for his candidacy as the only person with something significant to offer the state in terms of wealth creation, employment generation, massive infrastructural development, robust and dynamic economy, social services and security.
The director general who maintained that the group already had cells in all the polling units across the state, said the 2023 elections would be a landslide victory for the PDP.

Lending his voice, the patron of the group, Hon. Chukwuemerie Agu said it’s a privilege for the support group to partner with the governorship hopeful because Mbah’s aspiration represents a new dawn that will take the state to enviable heights.

“We are here to give you total assurance of our support. You’re taking Enugu State to a new destination,” he said.

Commending Mbah’s determination to reposition the state and make it one of the most economically viable states, the Special Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Information and patron of the group, Barr. Steve Oruruo maintained that the captain of industry had the character and competence that can be trusted by the people.

He further expressed faith that Mbah would proffer solutions to the challenges facing the state by charting an alternative course that would make it less dependent on the federal government in terms of revenue, saying that Mbah’s credible antecedent in the private sector is enough to draw the electorate to queue behind him.

“With you as our next governor, we know you have the solution. You’re going to elevate the state to another level. We are sure of the quality of leadership you’re bringing on board. This project is our collective project and we are taking it upon ourselves as our responsibility to mobilize voters across the state,” Oruruo added.
