The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Ejike Alumona, has unveiled an inspiring 12-point leadership pledge, promising a new era of empathy, justice, integrity, empowerment and accountability for the people.
In a message addressed to the people of Igboeze North and Udenu, Alumona declared that his name represents more than personal identity, describing it as a promise and a commitment to purposeful service.
Using the letters of his name, EJIKE ALUMONA, the candidate outlined the values he says will define his leadership, placing the welfare and aspirations of the people at the centre of his political ambition.
He pledged to lead with empathy, insisting that he understands the struggles of ordinary people because he has experienced hardship himself. On justice, he promised to fight against the neglect of the constituency, while his commitment to integrity, he said, means refusing to deceive or exploit the people.
Alumona also promised compassionate leadership that prioritises the poor and elderly, alongside deliberate empowerment programmes for youths, women and farmers.
On accountability, he assured constituents that he would remain answerable to the people rather than become inaccessible after securing their mandate. He further described leadership as an opportunity to serve, not rule, while emphasising unity between Igboeze North and Udenu as one people with a common voice and destiny.
Other pillars of his pledge include mercy for struggling families, expanded opportunities in employment and education, a new beginning for the constituency and practical action that would translate political promises into visible results.
"That is who I am. Ejike Alumona. Vote NDC. Service to the People," he declared.
The candidate's message, promoted under the slogan "Ozoigbondu 2027 Cares," presents his political aspiration as a promise of responsive representation, inclusive development and renewed attention to the needs of constituents.
With the 2027 elections approaching, Alumona is seeking to make people-oriented leadership, transparency and tangible results central themes of his campaign for the Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency.
