PROF. SONY EMEKA ALI CELEBRATES NIGERIA AT 66, CALLS FOR UNITY, PEACE AND PROGRESS

ENUGU —As Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary, Engr. Professor Sony Emeka Ali, FNSE, FNICE, Deputy National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), has called for renewed hope, unity and commitment to the nation’s progress.

In his Independence Day message, Prof. Ali celebrated what he described as the “courage, resilience and unity” of Nigerians, while expressing hope that the anniversary would inspire citizens to strengthen their resolve toward building a better Nigeria.

He urged Nigerians to embrace a greater commitment to the development of a prosperous, peaceful and united nation, emphasizing the importance of national unity and collective responsibility.

 “Today, we celebrate the courage, resilience and unity of a great nation,” the message stated.

Prof. Ali also wished Nigerians a happy Independence Day, concluding with a call for the nation to continue moving forward in unity and shared purpose.

“Happy Independence Day. Long live Nigeria!” he declared.

The message comes as Nigerians across the country commemorate the nation’s independence and reflect on its journey, challenges and aspirations for the future.
