Nigeria @66: Dr Onoh Reaffirms Commitment to Peace, Unity and a Better Nigeria

The Executive Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, has called for renewed commitment to peace, unity and collective progress as Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.

Onoh, in a goodwill message to Nigerians, described the anniversary as a significant moment to reflect on the nation’s journey, celebrate the resilience of its people and renew hope for a more prosperous and progressive Nigeria.

According to him, despite the challenges confronting the country, the strength and resilience of Nigerians remain a powerful foundation for building a better future.

He urged residents of Enugu North and Nigerians across the country to continue to promote peace, unity and development, stressing that the progress of the nation depends on the collective responsibility of its citizens.

“As we celebrate the 66th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence, we are reminded of our strength, resilience and shared hope for a progressive Nigeria,” Onoh said.

He further called on the people of Enugu North LGA to remain committed to peaceful coexistence and contribute positively to the development of their communities and the nation at large.

“As a people, may we continue to uphold peace, unity and progress in Enugu North LGA and beyond,” he stated.

The council chairman also expressed optimism that Nigeria would continue to overcome its challenges and move towards greater prosperity, urging citizens to keep alive the hope of a better tomorrow.

“May our dear nation, Nigeria, continue to prosper, and may the renewed hope of a better tomorrow remain alive in all of us,” Onoh prayed.

He congratulated Nigerians, particularly the people of Enugu North LGA, on the 66th Independence Anniversary and wished the nation continued peace, unity and progress.
