Enugu, September 1, 2026 — The Chairperson of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Enugu State/South-East Nigeria, Hon. Mrs. Rita Edeh, has extended warm greetings to the people of Enugu State as they welcome the month of September, offering prayers for renewed strength, divine favour, peace and greater opportunities.
In her September New Month message, Mrs. Edeh urged Ndi Enugu to embrace the new month with hope, optimism and renewed determination, describing it as an opportunity for fresh beginnings, growth and meaningful progress.
She prayed that the month would bring peace to the hearts of the people, clarity of purpose, good health, joy and abundant blessings to families across the state.
“May this month bring peace to your heart, clarity to your path, good health to your body, joy to your soul and blessings to you and your family,” she said.
The ALGON Chairperson also expressed hope that September would usher in new opportunities, divine breakthroughs and renewed strength for Ndi Enugu in their various endeavours.
She encouraged residents to remain positive and committed to building stronger families and communities, while continuing to support initiatives that promote grassroots development and the wellbeing of the people.
“May September be a month of growth, renewed strength, divine favour and endless opportunities,” Mrs. Edeh added, wishing the people of Enugu State a peaceful and prosperous month.
She concluded her message with a heartfelt prayer and goodwill to the people:
