…initiative equips MSMEs with skills to trade, ship and sell confidently across international borders
Business owners across Enugu State now have an opportunity to access free DHL certification and practical international trade training under the DHL Trade and Grow Beyond Borders programme.
The initiative, being promoted through the Enugu State MSME and Startup Agency, is designed to equip local entrepreneurs with the knowledge and practical tools required to take their businesses beyond the Nigerian market and compete more effectively in the global marketplace.
Through the programme, participating business owners will receive step-by-step training from certified DHL experts on critical aspects of cross-border trade and logistics.
The training will cover how businesses can navigate foreign customs requirements and reduce the risk of goods being delayed or held up; how to properly structure prices so international shipping costs do not erode profit margins; and how to establish clear delivery terms with overseas customers.
Participants will also learn strategies for improving online sales and streamlining their shipping processes when dealing with customers across international markets.
