The Chairman of Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area, Dr Eric Ogbonna Odo, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA).
During the visit,Dr Odoh expressly commended the Agency for its efforts towards improving the lives of vulnerable and rural communities across the state.
Dr Odo attributed the Agency's rapid growth to the proactiveness of the General Manager/CEO Hon Monday Diamond Ani, as well as the dedication and professionalism of the Staff in delivering a lasting outcome through a valid output of a teamwork anchored on a team spirit.
The Chairman further appreciated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his strong support for the Agency towards provision of potable water to the rural communities and as well,construction of Public Toilets for the total eradication of open defecation in the state. Dr Odoh described the initiative as a significant step towards improving sanitation, public health and the wellbeing of residents.
Dr. Odo called for increased collaboration, advocacy and funding for CSDA, urging the Agency to continue prioritizing vulnerable communities and providing essential services such as potable water and sanitation facilities to rural dwellers.
In response, the General Manager of CSDA commended the Mayor of Igbo-Etiti for his visit, describing it as a bold step towards a consolidated partnership between the Agency and Igbo-Etiti LGA.
Hon Monday Diamond also commended Dr Odoh for supporting the efforts of CSDA by constructing some potable watered-boreholes in Igbo-Etiti LGA and making Igbo-Etiti LGA a World Health Organization's Certified Open Defecation Free Local Government in Enugu State.
