The Nkerefi Women General Assembly literally called Ndi Nne Maama, comprising the four autonomous Communities(Imeoha Nkerefi, Enuogu Nkerefi, Ishienu Amofu and Ohuani Amofu Nkerefi) during their Annual General Return Meeting (August Meeting) honoured the General Manager of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency(CSDA) Hon Monday Diamond Ani with an Outstanding Son Award.
The Award was presented to him by the President of the Nkerefi Women General Assembly and former Deputy Mayor of Nkanu East LGA Hon Barr Mrs Ngozi Ogbonna , at the Closing ceremony of the mega Annual General Return Meeting which took place at the Community Secondary School Nkerefi.
In her word, Mrs Ngozi Ogbonna eulogized Hon Monday Diamond for his remarkable contributions towards the growth of Nkerefi Town over the years, his constant support to the women in general and his humanitarian gestures,making him an Outstanding Nkerefi Son and hence deserving of this Special Award of Recognition from the Nkerefi women.
The event attracted several dignitaries from and beyond Nkerefi.
With a match-pass display from several State branches of the Assembly across the Country and Special Honorary Salutes.
In response, Hon Monday Diamond Ani promised to continue to do his best for his community towards a better and liveable society.
