As electric vehicles (EVs) gradually reshape the transportation industry, Enugu State is creating an opportunity for young people and aspiring technicians to acquire practical skills needed to participate in the emerging electric mobility economy.
Through the Enugu Green Tech Training Accelerator (EGTTA), interested participants can access four months of practical, hands-on training designed to prepare them for real-world opportunities across the growing EV sector.
The training, originally valued at ₦400,000, is available for ₦150,000, giving participants a substantial 62.5 per cent subsidy on the cost of the programme.
Participants will gain practical knowledge covering key areas of electric vehicle technology, including EV architecture and systems, diagnostics, energy management and industry-aligned technical skills. They will also gain access to a growing green-tech network that can support further learning and professional opportunities.
For applicants who may be unable to pay the training fee at once, zero-interest Human Capital Development Loan (HCDL) options are available to help them access the programme.
The training is designed to go beyond classroom learning, equipping participants with skills that can potentially translate into employment, technical services, freelancing and entrepreneurship opportunities as electric mobility expands.
