The General Manager of Community and Social Development Agency(CSDA) Enugu State, hon Monday Diamond Ani has criticized heavily those trying to score cheap political gains over the incidence of Runaway Excursion experienced by the Enugu Air on Thursday afternoon in Benin.
According to Hon Diamond,Runway Excursions and even land-crashing of Aircrafts are not new in the Aviation Industry anywhere in the world,even in the well developed countries, Planes experience runway excursion and land crashing,so why would that of Enugu Air be used as a tool to score cheap and inconsequential political gains?
Hon Diamond further stated that Enugu Air has become the most patronized Airline in Nigeria in the last 6 months, this is as a result of its affordability,timeliness, comfortability, safety and discipline nature of the cabin crews and Management team.
"Runway Excursions are mostly natural occurrance anywhere in the world,often orchestrated by bad or turbulent weather, so it's not about plane standard.
We should be very thankful to God Almighty that all passengers and cabin crews onboard were safe and unharmed,and not making politics out of nothing, for it's only mentally derailed persons that would toe that line of criticism rather than thanking God and commending the strong efforts of the Pilots to guarantee passengers safety and unharmed landing.
