BREAKING: Enugu State Govt, CUTECH Group Launch 6-Week Digital Skills Programme, 50 Youths to Receive Full Scholarships

The Enugu State Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development and Mobilization, has announced the official launch of a six-week Holiday Digital and Specialized Skill Acquisition Programme, aimed at equipping young people with relevant digital and vocational skills for the future.

The initiative, being organized in collaboration with the CUTECH Group, will also provide scholarships to 50 selected youths, enabling them to participate in the maiden edition of the programme free of charge.

According to the official invitation, the launch ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Parish Hall, Owerri Road Bus Stop, Enugu.

With the theme, "Unlocking Youth Potential, Transforming Tomorrow," the programme is designed to empower young people with practical digital knowledge and specialized skills that will enhance their employability, entrepreneurship, and innovation capacity.

The event is expected to feature key government officials and industry leaders, including the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Hon. Charles Nnaemeka Edeh, Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development and Mobilization, and Engr. Collins U. Onu, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of CUTECH Group.

The initiative underscores the Mbah administration's commitment to youth development, innovation, and human capital investment, while strengthening partnerships with the private sector to prepare young people for opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Interested youths, stakeholders, and members of the public are expected to attend the official launch as Enugu takes another bold step toward building a digitally skilled and economically productive generation.
