The Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area, Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Enugu State Chapter, ALGON Chairman South East, and Deputy National Publicity Secretary of ALGON, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Nkanu East Local Government Area on the commencement of the month of June.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Edeh expressed profound appreciation to the people for their unwavering support, trust, and commitment towards the growth and development of Nkanu East, noting that the progress recorded in the local government area has been made possible through the collective efforts, resilience, and cooperation of the people.
According to him, despite the challenges encountered along the way, the people of Nkanu East have remained steadfast and supportive of initiatives aimed at advancing the welfare and prosperity of the area.
"As we step into a new month, I wish to sincerely thank every son and daughter of Nkanu East for your continued support, encouragement, and dedication to our collective vision of progress and development. The journey has not been without challenges, but together we have remained resilient, focused, and determined in our pursuit of a better future for our people," he stated.
The ALGON leader reaffirmed his commitment to providing quality leadership and people-oriented governance, stressing that the welfare, security, and prosperity of the people remain the cardinal objectives of his administration.
"I remain fully committed to working tirelessly to make a positive impact in our communities, our local government, Enugu State, and indeed our nation. With your continued support and cooperation, I am confident that we can achieve greater milestones, strengthen our communities, and build a lasting legacy that future generations will be proud of," he added.
Hon. Edeh further called on the people of Nkanu East to continue supporting and praying for their brother and leader, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, whose visionary leadership and transformational agenda have continued to reposition the state on the path of accelerated growth and sustainable development.
He noted that Governor Mbah's administration has remained committed to infrastructural renewal, enhanced security, educational advancement, healthcare improvement, economic transformation, and the overall welfare of the people of Enugu State.
The Council Chairman emphasized that the remarkable achievements recorded by the Governor's administration deserve the continued support, prayers, and cooperation of all citizens and residents of the state.
"Let us continue to support and pray for our brother and leader, His Excellency Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose dedication, courage, and visionary leadership are driving the transformation of Enugu State. He also prayed for God's continued blessings, protection, good health, peace, prosperity, and abundant opportunities for all residents of Nkanu East throughout the month of June and beyond.
Hon. Edeh urged the people to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and united in support of policies and programmes geared towards sustainable development and improved living standards across the local government area.
