The Executive Chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Hon. Hyginus Ogbonnia Agu, has officially signed the G-17 For Peter Mbah Endorsement Register, reaffirming his unwavering support for the re-election of the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement took place today, Monday, 22nd of June 2026 at Udi Local Government Secretariat during the inauguration of G-17 Local Government and Ward Executives, attended by party leaders, political stakeholders, community leaders, women groups, youths, and grassroots supporters from across the council area.

The endorsement register was formally presented to the council chairman by the Convener, Board of Trustees Chairman and Director-General of G-17 For Peter Mbah, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, who described the exercise as a strategic grassroots mobilisation initiative aimed at consolidating support for Governor Peter Mbah's second-term bid across the seventeen local government areas of Enugu State.

Speaking shortly after signing the register, Hon. Agu commended Governor Peter Mbah's transformative leadership and developmental strides across the state, assuring that Udi Local Government Area remains fully committed to supporting the Governor's administration and delivering massive votes for all APC candidates in 2027.

Generally regarded as the foremost support group with organic Structure in Enugu State, the council chairman further praised G-17 For Peter Mbah for its impressive grassroots network and mobilisation strategy, describing the group as a formidable political movement with the capacity to deepen voter participation and strengthen support for the Governor's re-election project.

The event marks another major milestone in G-17's statewide ward-to-ward endorsement and grassroots mobilisation campaign as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
