The Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Council, Barr. Ugo-Ferdinand Ukwueze, has extended warm felicitations to the people and workers of the council area on the occasion of the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration, urging continued support for good governance and collective progress.

“Happy Workers’ Day and a blessed new month to my dear good people of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.

Today, I celebrate the dignity of labour, the resilience of our workers and the invaluable role you all play in building our communities and shaping our future. This day reminds me that every honest effort, every skill and every contribution matters deeply in the progress of our society.

I am proud to align with the vision and leadership ideology of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose commitment to workers’ welfare continues to set a standard for purposeful governance.
