In rounding off its tour of the 17 local government areas and 260 wards across the state, the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM), the most organic and voluntary support group of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration ahead of the 2027 elections, will hold its grand finale and inauguration of coordinators in Nkanu East Local Government Area on April 15, 2026.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Amankanu Development Centre Field, Owo Junction, by 10:00 a.m.  According to a media statement issued and signed by the Secretary of the group, Hon. Cletus Akalusi, the upcoming occasion marks a significant milestone in the movement’s sustained drive towards the evangelization and propagation of Governor Mbah’s sterling performance, as well as his administration’s unprecedented strides across all sectors of the state economy at the grassroots level.

Also speaking, the President of the group and a prominent son of Nkanu East LGA, Chief Tony Okonkwo, urged all and sundry from the local government area and beyond to attend the grand finale. He emphasized that the group’s grassroots-driven campaign to showcase the landmark achievements of Governor Mbah’s administration is gaining remarkable traction, visibility, and positive response among the people.

He further hinted that upon the successful completion of the local government and ward tours, the group will roll out additional sensitization programmes aimed at sustaining and amplifying the gains and momentum generated over the past six months across the state.

Chief Okonkwo expressed profound appreciation to the leadership and members of the group for their steadfastness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the noble objectives of the movement, which are anchored on deepening awareness of Governor Mbah’s transformative agenda at the grassroots. He also commended the overwhelming support, enthusiasm, and acceptance demonstrated by the people, describing it as both unprecedented and inspiring.

As the curtain falls on this phase of its statewide engagement, the Tomorrow Is Here Movement stands poised to consolidate its grassroots strength, deepen civic awareness, and reinforce the bond between governance and the people.

With renewed vigour and a clear sense of purpose, the movement is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections, ensuring that the message of progress, performance, and purposeful leadership continues to resonate across every community in the state.
