The early hours of February 28, 2026, witnessed a colourful and electrifying atmosphere at Popular Ugwuoye Primary School, Nsukka, as the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM) stormed the area for a historic event.
The football field was beautifully decorated with ribbons in red, green, black, and white colours synonymous with the vibrant and organic support group championing Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Melodious music filled the air as passersby stopped to observe and inquire about the lively gathering.
It was a remarkable convergence of Nsukka’s political leaders, traditional rulers, market representatives, youth groups, students, women organizations, and party faithful. The roll call of attendees was both intimidating and impressive, reflecting unity across social and political divides. The event marked the official inauguration of the Local Government and Ward Coordinators of THM in Nsukka LGA, alongside renewed advocacy for Governor Mbah’s developmental strides across Enugu State.

The consensus across the speeches was clear: Governor Mbah’s administration has surpassed expectations, delivering massive infrastructural development and human capital advancement that, according to stakeholders, justifies a second term. Speakers highlighted strides in education, infrastructure, economic growth, and investment drive, describing Enugu State as an emerging investors’ destination.
The Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Deputy President of THM. Hon. Ezenta Ezeani, who conducted an interactive question-and-answer session to assess public awareness of the administration’s achievements, also reeled out key milestones of GovernorMbah'sadministration, emphasizing education as a top priority.
The inauguration of the Local Government and Ward Coordinators was formally performed by the President of THM and Personal Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Tony Okonkwo. In a well-articulated address, he underscored the developmental trajectory of the state and urged Ndi Enugu to unite in sustaining the momentum, stressing that no previous administration has matched the current pace of governance.
