In continuation of its aggressive grassroots mobilisation and sustained evangelism of the transformative achievements of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM) on Monday, March 23, 2026, stormed Udenu Local Government Area to inaugurate its ward coordinators and further deepen support for the administration.

Speaking during the event, the Udenu LGA Coordinator of THM, High Urama Michael, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the movement for its organic grassroots-driven approach in promoting the developmental strides of Governor Mbah. He assured that the people of Udenu remain solidly behind the Governor and are fully committed to ensuring his overwhelming victory in 2027, citing his impressive performance in office.

In his address, the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Aka Eze Aka, described the Tomorrow Is Here Movement as a platform anchored on vision, inclusivity, and transformative leadership. He emphasized that the movement transcends politics, focusing instead on people-oriented development, progress, and the establishment of sustainable structures for future generations.

He highlighted the remarkable achievements of Governor Mbah across key sectors, noting that the administration has continued to set new standards in governance in Enugu State. From massive infrastructural development to economic revitalisation, education reforms, and strategic investments, he stressed that the Governor’s leadership exemplifies purposeful governance with measurable results.

According to him, THM serves as a strategic vehicle for entrenching these gains at the grassroots level.

As part of the programme, a question-and-answer session, now a hallmark of THM events, was conducted to assess the people’s awareness of the administration’s projects and policies. Participants who demonstrated sound knowledge were rewarded with cash tokens.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Deputy President of THM, Hon. Ezenta Ezeani, commended the massive turnout and unwavering support from the people of Udenu. He reassured them of Governor Mbah’s commitment to equitable distribution of democratic dividends across the state, emphasizing that development would continue unabated regardless of political considerations. He urged sustained support for the administration.

The inauguration of the ward coordinators was performed by the President of THM, Hon. Tony Okonkwo, who spoke extensively on the Governor’s landmark achievements and charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to effectively cascade the message of good governance to the grassroots for better understanding and engagement.

A major highlight of the event was the award of a university scholarship to Miss Cynthia Chidimma Odo from Imilike Uno Ward by the Council Chairman, Hon. Aka Eze Aka, in a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to education and youth empowerment.
