The Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Prince Lawrence Ezeh, popularly known as the Prince of Mburubu, has reaffirmed his steadfast support for the second-term bid of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, expressing confidence in the governor’s developmental vision and ongoing transformation of the state.

Observers and party stakeholders note that Dr. Ezeh’s position aligns with his consistent record of support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State. In a previous demonstration of loyalty and commitment to party growth, the Commissioner donated a fleet of vehicles and ₦50 million to strengthen the party’s operational capacity ahead of key political activities.

The donation, which included one Coaster bus and four Toyota HiAce (Hummer) buses, was distributed to critical arms of the party to enhance grassroots mobilisation and administrative coordination. The women’s wing received the Coaster bus, while the youth wing and party officials were allocated the HiAce buses. An additional ₦50 million was provided to support logistics and outreach efforts.

Political stakeholders have described the earlier intervention as a significant morale booster for the party, reinforcing Dr. Ezeh’s reputation as a committed party stalwart who blends technocratic leadership with grassroots engagement.

Reiterating his confidence in Governor Mbah’s administration, Dr. Ezeh maintained that continuity in leadership would sustain the pace of economic-driven projects and infrastructural expansion currently underway across Enugu State. Party members present expressed optimism that his renewed endorsement would further consolidate support for the governor’s second-term aspiration.
