In less than three years of strategic repositioning, the state’s development lifestyle is being shaped around by a perfectionist, an innovator, administrative excellent who embodies three most reinforcing pillars of development in a modern society.
According to him no society can be able to join the league of greatness with embodying these three pillar which are; infrastructure expansion, innovation-driven governance and investment acceleration.
Put together, these pillars are not merely projects; they represent an economic doctrine, they represent readiness and strong statement towards development.
Across Enugu State, infrastructure is no longer treated as ceremonial commissioning material. It is being framed as economic architecture, all due the new approach Barr Peter Mbah has adopted for the improvement of our dear State.
From road networks linking agrarian belts of Uzo-Uwani, Isi-Uzo, Ezeagu etc, to commercial centers are gradually unlocking productivity across local governments. Urban renewal efforts in Enugu metropolis are reimagining the state capital as a modern administrative and commercial nerve center of South-East and Nigeria.
However, a lot of things come into play when we talk about development, it is not lone facet rather a multi-faceted act that yields result for general well being of a state. Reason is because if infrastructure lays the foundation, innovation ensures relevance, but have you asked yourself what happens when a leadership structure lacks innovative mindset in their organisation? It will result to a total mess and collapse.
The introduction of smart school initiatives, digital education models and technology-integrated governance signals a deliberate pivot toward a knowledge-based economy.
