A 77-year-old pastor in the United States has been sentenced to a minimum of 10 years in prison after being convicted of multiple sexual crimes involving young boys.

The convict, Pastor Michael Ronald Goble, was found guilty in December 2025 on three counts of criminal sexual conduct, with at least one count confirming that the victim was under the age of 13, according to court records.

Goble was arrested by Adrian police in July 2024 and initially faced eight counts of criminal sexual conduct across three separate cases. However, he later entered a no-contest plea to three charges, leading to the dismissal of the remaining five counts at sentencing.

Investigations revealed that locations linked to the offenses included the Maurice Spears Juvenile Campus, the Church of the Good Shepherd, and Goble’s residence.

Authorities also disclosed that Goble has an outstanding arrest warrant in Louisiana related to child molestation and will be extradited after completing his sentence in Michigan to face additional charges.

In a statement, the police department commended the victims for their courage in coming forward, describing their actions as an act of profound bravery that helps protect others and ensure justice.

Upon completion of his prison term, Goble will be placed on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for life, which includes continuous monitoring and mandatory reporting requirements.
