The road to the Enugu Tech Festival (ETF) 2026, championed by the Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Engr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh, PhD, in line with the visionary leadership of the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, received another major boost as the ETF team visited Renaissance University, Enugu, for a campus-wide sensitization exercise.
The engagement session was lively, interactive, and deeply informative, capturing the attention of students who turned out in large numbers to learn about the vast opportunities the festival will offer. From innovation showcases to digital skills training, hackathons, startup support, and networking with industry leaders, students expressed strong enthusiasm and eagerness to participate.
The ETF team emphasized the state government’s commitment to mainstreaming technology, nurturing innovation, and empowering young people with skills required for a modern, knowledge-driven economy. Students applauded the initiative, commending the government for expanding access to tech opportunities and positioning them for global relevance.
