Igbo-Eze South LG to Host Enugu State/USA Medical Mission Team for Life-Saving 2025 Christmas Outreach

The Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area is set to witness a major boost in community healthcare as it plays host to the Enugu State/USA Medical Mission Team for the 2025 Medical Mission, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, 2025.


The highly anticipated outreach, which is expected to attract residents from across the local government and neighboring communities, will hold at SS Peter and Paul Ulunya, Ovoko, beginning from 09:00am. 


This Igbo-Eze South LGA, the medical mission will deliver much-needed free medical services, targeting underserved and vulnerable populations, while strengthening grassroots access to quality healthcare. The initiative underscores the growing collaboration between Enugu State and international medical partners, particularly from the United States, in addressing critical health challenges at the community level.


The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, described the programme as timely and impactful, noting that it aligns with the local government’s commitment to prioritising the wellbeing of its people. He encouraged residents to take full advantage of the rare opportunity to receive professional medical attention at no cost.
