The Executive Chairman of Nkanu West Local Government Area, Hon. John Ogbodo, has once again reaffirmed his unwavering admiration and support for the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, describing him as a transformational leader whose vision and performance have redefined governance across the state.
Hon. Ogbodo made this assertion while hosting the Enugu State Unity Forum, Enugu East Zone, at the Nkanu West Council Headquarters for the inauguration of the Forum’s ward executives across the 14 wards of the local government area. The event, he noted, represents another strategic step in deepening grassroots mobilization, political harmony, and community unity within the zone.
Commending the leadership of the Forum under Dr. Emeka Nwatu, the council boss lauded their steadfast commitment to the collective mission of progress, continuity, and unwavering support for Governor Mbah’s visionary administration.
“Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s outstanding performance continues to speak for itself. His leadership has touched every sector and every community — from infrastructure and education to security, healthcare, and economic transformation. His achievements remain our greatest campaign message,” Ogbodo declared.
He emphasized that Nkanu West stands firmly behind Governor Mbah’s agenda, describing the governor’s ‘Tomorrow is Here’ mantra as a living reality in every corner of the state. According to him, the local government has continued to align fully with the governor’s strategic vision for development and inclusive governance.
Addressing the newly inaugurated ward executives, Hon. Ogbodo charged them to see their appointment as a call to selfless service, urging them to sustain the tempo of mobilization, unity, and community engagement that have become the hallmark of Nkanu West’s political structure.
“This is a collective journey of faith and purpose. Let us continue to work together, uphold the spirit of unity, and remain loyal to the transformational vision of our governor. Together, we will build a stronger, united, and progressive Nkanu West,” he added.
