Happening Now!! Tinubu Makes 5 Fresh Appointments Amid US Invasion Threats 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies across major geopolitical zones in the country.

The announcement was made on Monday in Abuja by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, in a statement released through the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Eno Olotu.

According to the statement, those appointed as Permanent Secretaries include Ibrahim Ozi (Federal Capital Territory), Ezemama Chidiebere (Imo State), Garba Usman (North Central), Mohammed Ishiyaku (North East), and Ukaire Chigbowu (South East).

Mrs. Walson-Jack noted that the appointments were the result of a rigorous and transparent selection exercise, which aligns with the administration’s ongoing commitment to meritocracy, professionalism and excellence in public service.

She congratulated the new Permanent Secretaries and charged them to deploy their experience, competence and integrity to support government policies and drive improved national service delivery.

She described the appointments as a demonstration of President Tinubu’s determination to strengthen the performance of the Civil Service and reinforce a results-driven governance model geared towards national development.
