UNN Ignites the Future: World-Class Innovation on Display at Enugu Campus Hackathon 2025

The Enugu Campus Hackathon 2025 has entered an electrifying phase with the successful conclusion of its 2-Day Campus Round at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)—a landmark showcase of raw talent, daring innovation, and the unwavering entrepreneurial spirit of Nigeria’s brightest student minds.


From AI-powered EdTech and healthtech platforms to nationwide logistics disruptors and gamified learning engines, student-led teams from across UNN stunned the judges with their world-class solutions designed to solve Nigeria’s most pressing challenges.


*A Glimpse into the Game-Changing Submissions*


Over the course of the two-day sprint, dozens of standout teams presented startup-ready innovations that could shape the future:


*Team HighScore* tackled Nigeria’s 78.5% JAMB failure rate with a gamified learning app blending AI, real-time feedback, and personalized prep for secondary school students.


*Team Codecrakers* introduced *Ndụlinka*, a digital health ecosystem connecting patients, doctors, and pharmacies for smarter, faster, and more inclusive healthcare delivery.


*Team JacMate* unveiled an AI-powered academic companion that aligns study material 100% with Nigerian university syllabi—an absolute breakthrough in personalized learning.


*JuliTech* showcased a rugged, modular accident= detection system that works across land, air, and sea—offering early-warning signals that could save lives globally.


*CampusGrid, UniTour, Mamihub, Victory Medicipher,* and several other high-caliber teams wowed judges with solutions across govtech, tourism, e-commerce, AI health diagnostics, and more.


Each pitch was met with rigorous questioning and real-world scrutiny by the judging panel, a deliberate move to simulate investor-level pressure and ensure only the best move forward.

The best-performing teams from the UNN Campus Round will join the top 3 from the other schools for a bootcamp and the grand the Grand Finale, where they’ll compete for over $100,000 in cash prizes, mentorship, incubation, and global exposure.

The Enugu Hackathon 2025 is proudly powered by the Enugu State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, through the Enugu SME Center and Office of the Special Adviser on Digital Economy & MSMEs.
