The Executive Chairman of Nkanu West Local Government Area, Hon. John Chukwuma Ogbodo, has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and commitment to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, declaring that he and the people of Nkanu West are ready to follow the Governor to any political party of his choice, including the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Ogbodo made this declaration at the Nkanu West Council Headquarters, Agbani, while addressing a large gathering of party stakeholders and supporters amidst the ongoing wave of defections in Enugu State.
“I am ready, and Nkanu West Local Government is equally ready and has since resolved to follow our leader, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to any political party of his choice be it APC,” Ogbodo stated firmly.
Describing Governor Mbah as a visionary, pragmatic, and people-oriented leader, Ogbodo praised his transformative leadership style and the unprecedented developmental strides recorded across Enugu State since his assumption of office. He commended the Governor’s giant achievements in infrastructure, economic reforms, and human capital development, emphasizing that his administration has restored confidence in governance and repositioned Enugu on the path of sustainable growth.
“Governor Mbah is a man of vision and integrity,” Ogbodo said. “His performance has proven that he came prepared to change the narrative of Enugu State. From water supply to infrastructure and innovation, his leadership continues to inspire hope and confidence in our people. He is a man to be trusted and followed.”
Hon. Ogbodo stressed that his loyalty to Governor Mbah transcends political boundaries, describing him as the symbol of progress and unity in Enugu State. He added that the people of Nkanu West are fully aligned with the Governor’s vision and will stand by him in any political direction he chooses to ensure continuity of good governance.
“Politics is about leadership and vision. We in Nkanu West are proud to have a leader like Governor Mbah, whose record of achievements speaks volumes. Wherever he goes, we go because we believe in his capacity to deliver,” Ogbodo reiterated.
The event, which drew a large crowd of stakeholders, youth groups, women leaders, and traditional rulers, was marked by solidarity chants and reaffirmations of loyalty to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. Attendees pledged to support any political movement led by the Governor, describing him as the beacon of progress and hope for Enugu State.
