Enugu State has earned continental recognition as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dame Ugochi Madueke, was honoured among the Africa Travel 100 Women – Top 100 Travel & Tourism Personalities in Africa at the 21st Akwaaba African Travel Market 2025.
The award celebrates women driving growth in travel, hospitality, and tourism across Africa, highlighting Enugu’s rising profile as a premier cultural and tourism destination.
Expressing her gratitude, Dame Madueke dedicated the award to the people of Enugu State and shared:
