Amb. Mrs Amaka Nweke Celebrates Birthday With Artisans at Trans-Ekulu, Spreads Message of Love, Unity, and Civic Responsibility
Enugu was filled with excitement and heartfelt joy on Saturday, September 20, 2025, as Ambassador Mrs. Amaka Nweke JP, Member IV of the Enugu State Local Government Service Commission, marked her birthday in an extraordinary celebration with the artisan community at their popular station point, Ogbonmanu, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu. Known for her deep passion for humanity and service, Ambassador Nweke chose to spend her special day with masons, carpenters, painters, builders, bricklayers, tilers, plumbers, roofers, and other hardworking artisans, offering not just festivities but also a powerful message of love, unity, and civic engagement.
The event was a lively and emotional gathering where Ambassador Nweke shared an inspiring message of God’s love and the power of unity, encouraging the artisans to embrace peace and mutual respect in their daily lives. The atmosphere was further enriched by a soul-lifting sermon delivered by Rev. Kanayo Madichie, Founder of the Atmosphere Changers Global Prayer Network. Rev. Madichie urged the artisans to remain steadfast in faith, uphold integrity in their work, and let love for one another guide their daily actions. His message resonated deeply with many present, leading to a touching moment when several artisans gave their lives to Christ, demonstrating the transformative impact of the outreach.
In a warm display of solidarity, Ambassador Nweke cut her birthday cake with the artisans, prayed with them, and joined in songs of praise and thanksgiving. The atmosphere was filled with joy as everyone dined together, danced, and rejoiced, reflecting the spirit of community and togetherness that defined the occasion. Beyond celebration, the day also carried a strong message of civic responsibility. Ambassador Nweke took the opportunity to deliver a vital session on voter education, encouraging the artisans to exercise their democratic rights by registering for or retrieving their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs). She emphasized the importance of active participation in the electoral process as a pathway to good governance and positive societal change.
Going further, Ambassador Nweke passionately urged the artisans to support and vote for the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, in the 2027 general election, describing his visionary leadership and developmental strides as a clear roadmap to a brighter future for Enugu State. She stressed that re-electing Governor Mbah would consolidate the remarkable progress already achieved in infrastructure, education, water supply, and youth empowerment, ensuring sustained growth and prosperity across the state. In a further gesture of support, she provided transport fare to those who needed assistance to visit the Enugu East Local Government Area to either obtain new voter’s cards, recover misplaced ones, or change their polling units.
The event was graced by members of the Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET), who joined Ambassador Nweke in sharing fellowship, prayers, and goodwill with the artisans. Their presence underscored the collective spirit of empowerment and mutual support that Ambassador Nweke has consistently championed through her humanitarian work. The celebration at Ogbo Nmanu not only highlighted her commitment to grassroots engagement but also reinforced her reputation as a peace builder, community advocate, and compassionate leader. By choosing to mark her birthday among everyday workers whose efforts sustain the city’s development, she demonstrated once again her belief that true leadership lies in serving the people, uplifting the marginalized, and inspiring change from the ground up.
As the artisans prayed for her continued success, sound health, and divine protection, the day stood as a testament to Ambassador Nweke’s enduring legacy of service, humility, and love, a birthday celebration that went beyond festivity to leave a lasting impact on lives and the community.
