Excitement continues to build around the ongoing Peter Mbah Students Inter-Campus Football Tournament as Peaceland College of Education takes on Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu (FCCE) in what promises to be a thrilling encounter on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
Kick-off is scheduled for 12 PM, and fans are already buzzing with anticipation over who will dominate the field in this second matchday clash of the high-stakes tournament organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), JCC Enugu, in collaboration with the Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The match follows the electrifying opening game that saw UNEC Lions and IMT kick off the tournament in style, setting the tone for what is already shaping up to be a memorable competition. Speaking ahead of the match, Comrade Ugwu Kingsley Chigozie, Director of Sports, NANS JCC Enugu, encouraged students and football lovers across the state to come out and support their teams. “This tournament is not just about winning—it’s about unity, showcasing talent, and promoting youth involvement in meaningful activities. We’re excited to see what Peaceland and FCCE will bring to the pitch,” he said.
Also commenting, Comrade Okwudili Favour Chinagorom, Public Relations Officer of NANS JCC Enugu, emphasized that the competition is helping to build school spirit and camaraderie among institutions in the state, adding that more action-packed fixtures are on the way.
