A National formidable coalition of seasoned grassroots leaders and advocates for transparent, people-centered governance, The Integrity Group of Nigeria, popularly known as "The Ambassador For Good Governance", Enugu State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting developmental leadership in Enugu State, lauded the State Governor, His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his inclusive and equitable developmental strides, describing his administration as a catalyst for transforming Enugu into a state of hope, economic vibrancy, and infrastructural excellence within just two years.
The group made this known during a courtesy visit the group’s state Chapter Executives on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi), at the Government House, Enugu.
Speaking during the visit, the State Coordinator of the Integrity Group, Prince Emma Efoke, highlighted that Governor Mbah’s leadership has ushered in a new era of purposeful governance, with visible projects and policies that have uplifted the lives of Ndi-Enugu across sectors including water, road infrastructure, digital economy, agriculture, healthcare, and education.
“We are here to attest to the wonders of developments witnessed in Enugu within two years of Governor Mbah’s administration,” Prince Efoke stated, adding that “promises made by Governor Mbah have been matched with deliverable actions, bringing hope, relief, and succour to our people.”
Among the delegation was Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, a former ALGON Secretary and two-term Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government, who now serves as the Secretary of the Integrity Group. His presence was acknowledged as a testament to the credibility and organizational strength of the group, as it continues to align with visionary leadership that prioritizes grassroots development and citizen welfare.
Responding, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi) expressed deep satisfaction over the group’s commitment and their unflinching support for the administration of Governor Mbah, urging them to remain steadfast in their advocacy for good governance while serving as a bridge between the government and the people at the grassroots.
“I am very impressed with such a formidable association, especially having a former council chairman like Hon. Pedro Nwankwo and other strong grassroot-base leaders in your ranks,” Anioma remarked. “His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, is in a hurry to develop Enugu State and put smiles on the faces of every Enugu citizen. We implore you and other credible associations to continue to serve as support bases to this administration, ensuring that government projects and infrastructures are protected in your areas,” he added.
The visit further reinforced the group’s resolve to continue collaborating with the Mbah-led administration to deepen public trust and participation in governance while promoting policies that align with transparency, inclusiveness, and sustainability in Enugu State.
