The Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Market Affairs, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, has congratulated Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on the successful launch of Enugu Air, describing it as a historic and game-changing achievement that will accelerate the growth and development of Enugu State.
In a statement on Tuesday, Hon. Dr. Mbah noted that the launch of the state-owned airline marks a significant milestone that reflects Governor Mbah’s visionary, intentional, and transformational leadership, positioning Enugu State for enhanced connectivity, economic growth, and global competitiveness.
“Governor Peter Mbah has once again demonstrated what visionary and transformational leadership can achieve within a short time. The launch of Enugu Air is a historic breakthrough that places Enugu State on the global map for progress and innovation,” Hon. Dr. Mbah stated.
He emphasised that Enugu Air will improve mobility, attract investors, promote tourism, and stimulate economic activities across various sectors, further advancing the administration’s commitment to the economic rebirth of the state.
Hon. Dr. Mbah commended Governor Mbah for matching words with action, noting that within two years, the governor has implemented projects with direct impacts on the lives of the people, demonstrating leadership focused on results and people-centred development.
“Enugu Air is more than just an airline; it is a symbol of a new era in Enugu State, showing that purposeful leadership can break barriers and open new frontiers of opportunities for our people,” he said.
He called on the people of Enugu State to continue to support and partner with Governor Mbah’s administration to ensure that the government’s strides in infrastructure, security, water, education, and economic transformation are sustained for the benefit of all residents.
