Enugu’s Pride, Dr. Chiesonu Iziga-Eruchal Bags Prestigious "SHE Global Awards"

 

In a hall filled with elegance, power, and the vibrant energy of change-makers from across the globe, Dr. Mrs. Chiesonu Iziga-Eruchalu (PhD, CBA, NIM, FIIMCA) stood as the pride of Enugu State as she was honored with the SHE Global Award 2025 for Excellence in Consulting and Humanitarian Service, under the Top Ladies in Business category.

The SHE Global Awards & Conference 2025, themed “The Lipstick Force”, brought together high-achieving women from around the world to celebrate strength in leadership, purpose, and feminine brilliance. Among them, Dr. Chiesonu emerged as the only recipient from Enugu, standing tall as a voice of hope, hard work, and humanitarian impact.

Taking the stage to receive her award, Dr. Chiesonu delivered an emotionally charged speech that resonated deeply with every soul present.

ABOUT DR. MRS. CHIESONU IZIGA-ERUCHALU (PHD, CBA, NIM, FIIMCA)

Dr. Chiesonu Iziga-Eruchalu hails from Amube in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. She began her academic journey at Community Primary School Etiti Ngwo before advancing to Queens School Enugu and later St. Cyprian’s Special Science School Nsukka. She holds a first degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has studied at institutions such as the International Business School Americas in São Paulo, Brazil, the Nigerian Institute of Management, and the African Society for Public Administrators. Her qualifications include a CBA, multiple post-graduate certifications, a MasterClass Certificate on Innovation and Brand Building, and she is a Fellow of the Institute of Micro Credit Administrators.

During her university days, she was actively involved in student leadership, serving in the Faculty of Biological Sciences House of Reps and as the publicity committee chair of a national student conference. During her NYSC, she served in Ekiti State, where she taught, earned a certificate in Event Management, and was named “Star Student” of her class.

She is currently the Managing Director of Glozig Enterprise, TConsult360, and Chieso Life Foundation (CLF), where she has over ten years of experience offering consulting, branding, research, data analysis, and training. Her annual flagship project, “Every Child Deserves Education Initiative,” focuses on removing barriers to education for underprivileged children.

Dr. Chiesonu is also a political leader and a former National Vice President of the Ohanaeze Youth Council. She has been deeply involved in youth and women development across Nigeria, has led multiple community-based initiatives, and even presented constitutional amendment proposals before the Nigerian Senate. She is also a BBC Igbo-featured voice on national issues, security, and leadership.

A humanitarian, public health consultant, social reformer, and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Chiesonu continues to redefine excellence with a heart full of compassion. She is married and blessed with three children, and is affectionately known by many names including Agbanchala, Nwaejiejemba, Nnukwu Ada, Anyanwu na-etiri oha, and Beauty and Brains, all as results of powerful impact she has continued to make.
