Nkanu West LG Chairman, Hon. Chukwuma Ogbodo has joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate His Excellency, Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his award of Doctor of Human Letters (DHL) by the prestigious Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science And Technology, Ikere - Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Hon. Ogbodo said this in a statement, emphasising that Governor Mbah has invested so much in education especially in exponential learning making Enugu State a destination for education and learning.
The council chairman who accompanied Governor Mbah for the award said that the Governor had since assumption of office garnered many prestigious awards and recognition which he said is a testament that Governor Mbah has performed very well in so short time.
"Governor Mbah love and penchant for education is demonstrated in the construction of Smart Green School in all the 260 political wards in the state. Such feat is intimidating and should be commended"
"Recall that Gov Mbah earmarked N320 billion for the education sector, which is about 33percent of the total budget while works and infrastructure were allocated N214.6 billion, which was 22percent of the 2025 budget, showing how he prioritized education" he stated.
