Enugu Assembly to Hold Public Hearing on Landlords & Tenants Charges Bill

The Enugu State House of Assembly has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed Landlords & Tenants Regulated Charges Bill (HB 4, 2025) to ensure citizens' participation and contributions to the legislative process. The hearing will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Hallowed Chambers of the Enugu State House of Assembly.

Individuals and groups are encouraged to submit their memoranda, suggestions, and inputs in a well-packaged, typed format to Hon. Okey Mbah or the Secretary of the Joint Committee at Room 34, Upstairs, New Building Complex, ENHA, on or before the hearing date.

The announcement was made by the Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor JP, as part of efforts to promote public engagement in regulating rent charges between landlords and tenants in Enugu State.
