The Executive Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area, Engr. Pastor Beloved Dan Anike, has announced a healthcare relief initiative for elderly residents. In a gesture of compassion and social responsibility, the chairman has pledged to cover the medical and hospital bills of individuals aged 60 years and above, regardless of their current health status.
According to the announcement, beneficiaries need to register in person to access this support. The registration will take place on Wednesday, 26th March, and Thursday, 27th March 2025, at Ugwogo Park Ugbene 1 (PDP Meeting Venue), starting at 9:00 AM. The announcement also emphasizes strict adherence to time, urging attendees to arrive promptly.
Hon. Emmanuel Igbokwe, popularly known as Commander Ugbene 1, made the announcement on behalf of the chairman, encouraging eligible residents to take advantage of this opportunity.
This initiative underscores the commitment of the Enugu East Local Government leadership to the well-being of senior citizens, ensuring they receive necessary medical attention without financial strain.
