The Enugu State Women Prayer Network is set to hold its November monthly prayer meeting this Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Okpara Square, Independence Layout, Enugu. This monthly event will bring together women from all over the state to join in prayer and fellowship, under the leadership of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Ihuoma Mbah, wife of the Governor of Enugu State.
Scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM, the prayer gathering will center on the theme of interceding for the state, its leaders, and its citizens. A focal point of this month’s event will be a dedication ceremony for the recently appointed local government officials, seeking divine guidance and strength for their roles in governance. Mrs. Mbah, as the event host, continues to champion the importance of spiritual support and community unity, aiming to uplift Enugu State through prayerful intercession.
This November edition of the gathering is expected to draw a diverse group of influential women in various leadership roles, including:
- Wives of elected local government chairpersons and their deputies
- Female political officeholders and appointees at both state and federal levels
- Female heads of personnel management across all 17 LGAs in Enugu State
- Representatives of the wives of military and paramilitary officers
- Women clergy and leaders from religious communities
- Sector leaders and representatives from political parties across the state
The Enugu State Women Prayer Network has been steadfast in its mission to unite women in leadership across the religious, political, and social spheres, fostering collaboration and unity. This monthly prayer initiative brings together women ministers, local government leaders, church representatives, and other women leaders to seek divine intervention for the betterment and growth of Enugu State.
Participants will also engage in discussions around societal and gender-related issues, creating a space to address challenges that affect women and society at large. This gathering provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and strategies that empower women to make impactful contributions within their communities and beyond.
