The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, psc (+), has visited the Headquarters of the 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Enugu, to pay his respects and sign the condolence register in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja.
During the visit, the CP extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada, senior officers, and soldiers of the Division. He described the late COAS as a remarkable officer, praying for the repose of his soul.
The CP was warmly received during the visit by the Chief of Staff to the GOC, Brigadier General Y. O. Zubair, in company of the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 82 Division Enugu, Lieutenant Colonel Jonah Unuakhalu.
