The Nsukka Youths General Assembly (NYGA) is set to make history with the official inauguration of its newly elected President, Clinton Ogbonna, on Saturday, 12th October 2024. The event, which will also mark the handover from the outgoing President, Comrade Roy Ekwueme, promises to be a landmark occasion for the youth body and the entire Nsukka region.
In a public invitation released by the NYGA, the handover and inauguration ceremony will take place at Adada Hall, Nsukka, beginning promptly at 12:00 PM. Dignitaries from various walks of life, including political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and key representatives of Nsukka, are expected to grace the event.
The Chairman of the Occasion will be Rt. Hon. Ezenta Ezeani, the Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, while the Royal Father of the Day will be HRM Igwe Samuel Asadu, the Chairman of the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council.

The Host of the event will be Hon. Engr. Jude Asogwa, the Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area.
As part of the celebrations, the outgoing President, Comrade Roy Ekwueme, will formally hand over the reins of leadership to Clinton Ogbonna, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the NYGA.
