The journey to translate the human and abundant natural resources God bestowed on Udenu Local Government Area has begun in earnest with the election of Akachukwu Eze Akachukwu, a man of prodigious intellectual ability, a demonstrated leadership acumen, discernible and spectacular desire for exponential economic and human development as well as critical and strategic poise to engage the resurgence of Udenu Dream as the Peoples Democratic Party local Government Chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming Enugu State Local Government Council Elections come October 5th, 2024.
His victory at the recently concluded Primary Election was resounding and resonates with the people of the local Government who have over the years yearned for all inclusive and sustainable development, garnering endorsement and accolades far and wide. The reason for his acceptance is not unconnected to his long years of cultivating for himself an untainted personality, showing evidence of quality delivery on any given assignment and of course, an understanding of the wishes and aspiration of the people.
In his acceptance speech shortly after the primary election, Akachukwu, who spoke in measured and carefully chosen words assured the people that his administration if elected would bring back the glory of the council, leaving its wake a massive infrastructure transformation, service delivery and good governance. He stated that his governance mantra would be In Touch With Tomorrow while his guiding philosophy will be defined by transparency and accountability.
The mantra “in touch with tomorrow” takes on a significant meaning in the context of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s transformative approach to governance, which is characterized by disruptive innovation and unconventional business ideas. This mantra reflects a forward-thinking and future-oriented mindset that aligns with Governor Mbah’s vision for driving positive change and progress in various sectors encapsulated in his mantra Tomorrow Is Here.
It is axiomatic to say that Governor Mbah’s emphasis on disruptive innovation and business unusual ideas signifies a departure from traditional approaches to governance and a willingness to challenge the status quo in order to achieve meaningful outcomes.
By embracing this mindset, Akachukwu is evidently paving the way for innovative solutions to long-standing issues such as development inertia, security failures, challenges of quality administration, and inefficient service delivery that have all been the bane of our development, despite the resources available at our disposal.

It is therefore not out of place to call on all Udenu Peoples across party lines to come together and embrace the candidacy of Akachukwu Eze Akachukwu, as he is the best thing to happen in our quest for all round development of our local government.
