UDENU 2024: ANTICIPATE

ANTICIPATE, as Ugwu Clement Onyekachi, otherwise known on social media spaces as Onyekachi C Ugwu is set to release the abridged version of his manifesto, dubbed MY CHARTER with NDI UDENU, structured into a four-point agenda.

As a subscriber to the wits of the renowned American theologian — Leonard I. Sweet, Onyekachi crafted his manifesto believing that: "The future is not something we enter. The future is something we create."

It is an all - encompassing Manifesto for which he hopes and believes in God and the leadership of his political party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP that if considered and given the opportunity to serve as Udenu Local Government Council Chairman, he will translate into tangible realities.

He, as you all know and see, commits himself to the need to reinvent and reinvigorate Udenu leadership and development trajectories in such a way that combines creativity and the political will to engage new paradigms.

He unarguably believes that we must as a matter of urgency break away from subsisting Leadership and development ideas so as to mainstream far reaching sustainable development and reignite trust in government. Past administrations in Udenu Local Government have made discernible efforts to change the narratives.

However, such efforts have yet to yield the desired results across many areas, hence the urgent need to change gear and engage newer models. The Council Area is blessed with tremendous human and material resources. We must therefore tap into these potentials, maximize the gains therefrom to put Udenu at the forefront of fast paced development.

Unlike before, we must be prepared to engage the change dynamics and direct the thrust of the administration to align  with changing times.

...now, as he says, and I believe, is the golden opportunity to get it right.

We can trust him to take the Charge and lead from the front.

From his antecedents with previous engagements in public office, he has demonstrated consistency in using public resources to the benefit of the masses — the rightful owners of the mandate.

Udenu has all the aces up its sleeve. Let's support Him to WALK HIS TALKS. ANTICIPATE... as a new dawn unfolds in the Gateway LGA.

Don't forget what the famous Japanese Scholar Okakura Kakuzō advised: "The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings."
