Nsukka LGA Welcomes New Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Martina Ugwuoke


Nsukka Local Government Area (LGA) in Enugu State has witnessed a significant change with the appointment of Mrs. Martina Mgbosoro Ugwuoke as the new Head of Personnel Management (HPM). Mrs. Ugwuoke steps into her new role following the tenure of the former HPM, Mrs. Dorothy Okeke, marking the beginning of a new era in the personnel management of the LGA.


Mrs. Ugwuoke, who hails from Ovoko in Igbo-Eze South LGA and is married to an indigene of Obimo in Nsukka LGA, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the local culture and administration. Her appointment is seen as a strategic move aimed at further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the council’s workforce.


The transition of leadership from Mrs. Dorothy Okeke to Mrs. Martina Ugwuoke has been described as smooth and orderly, reflecting the strong administrative framework within the Nsukka LGA. In her first address as HPM, Mrs. Ugwuoke expressed her commitment to maintaining the high standards set by her predecessor while introducing new strategies to improve the productivity and morale of the staff. "I am honored to serve the people of Nsukka LGA in this capacity and will do my utmost to ensure that our personnel management system continues to operate efficiently and effectively," she stated.
