The Office of the First Lady of Enugu State is inviting all women to the highly anticipated 2024 August Meeting, an event that will brings together women from all walks of life to address crucial societal issues and empowerment initiatives for Enugu Women. This year’s meeting, themed "Eliminating Abuse to Foster a Healthy Society," is set to take place on Friday, August 9th, at Michael Okpara Square, Independence Layout, Enugu, commencing at 9 AM.
Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will grace the event as the Special Guest of Honour. Her presence underscores the significance of the August Meeting and highlights the national importance of addressing gender-based issues. The event will be hosted by Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, the wife of the Governor of Enugu State.
