The Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Engr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh, has publicly acknowledged the commitment of Governor Barr Peter Mbah for awarding crucial road construction projects in Enugu State. In a heartfelt message, Ezeh expressed his profound gratitude for the recent awarding of the Nomeh-Mburubu-Nara Road and the Mburubu-Nkerefi Road, among other rural infrastructure projects.
As a notable figure from Mburubu Kingdom, Engr. Ezeh conveyed the widespread joy and appreciation felt by his community and neighboring beneficiary towns of Nomeh, Nara, Nkerefi and Oduma, linked by these roads. According to Prince Lawrence Ezeh, the awarded roads which span across these five towns, will significantly enhance rural development and security.
In his "Thank You" message, Ezeh praised Governor Mbah as a “Trans-generational Leader of our time,” highlighting the transformative impact of the road projects on the local communities. He remarked, “Thank you Your Excellency for the awards of Nomeh-Mburubu-Nara Road, Mburubu-Nkerefi Road, and the rest of the other 18 Rural and 141 Urban roads in Enugu State. The people of Mburubu Community are grateful.”
Recall that governor Barr Peter Mbah approved a substantial budget of N183 billion for the construction of 141 roads within Enugu metropolis and 20 rural roads across the state's three senatorial zones. This investment aims to significantly improve rural infrastructure, thereby enhancing the quality of life and supporting agricultural investments.
The extensive investment in road infrastructure reflects the state government's commitment to addressing key development challenges and fostering economic growth in both urban and rural areas.
