Kings Care Foundation Marks 7th Anniversary of Humanitarian Service to Ndi Enugu

   


The Kings Care Foundation is commemorates its 7th anniversary, celebrating a milestone of dedicated humanitarian service to the Ndi Enugu community. The foundation continues to reaffirm its unwavering commitment to uplifting the youth, widows, and the downtrodden.

Speaking on his personal journey and the inspiration behind his humanitarian efforts, the founder of the Kings Care Foundation, Dr. Atu Ahamefuna (Echeribe) shared; "Drawing from my own experiences of growing up from a poor background, this foundation is established to inspire new leaders and to build a society where no one is left behind," 

"Over the past seven years, the Kings Care Foundation has implemented a wide range of programs focused on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. These initiatives have profoundly impacted the lives of many individuals in the community, providing essential support and resources" he said.

While the commemoration continues, the foundation remains dedicated to its mission, reflecting on past achievements and setting ambitious goals for the future. The ongoing celebration is a testament to the foundation's enduring commitment and a call for continued support and collaboration from the community and stakeholders.


Established in June 2017 as a non-profit Organization with primary aim to help rural women and children break the cycle of poverty in their communities, Kings Care Foundation is purred by compassion as a result of the humble background of the founder which has set the foundation's objectives solely on giving voice to the voiceless and ensuring that the dream of every young Nigerian irrespective of tribe and religion is not foiled by the overwhelming hardship he or she is born into.
Kings Care Foundation is majored in every sphere of voluntary assistance in sports, skill acquisition and tackling of other human and environmental issues in Africa such as...
a) Healty Food For The People; Starvation is still a problem that many face daily. With the help of our patrons, we provide anyone in need with the proper nutrition. Together we can end this problem once and for all.
b) Medical Facilities and Medication; From medicine, to providing the best treatments, we help any of the people that are struggling to stay healthy because of currency or lack of resources.
c) Clean Water Access; Some people don't have the luxury of flushing toilets and accessible water. Many face problems such as dysentery and dehydration. Let's not take for granted the miracles of water.
d) Best Education For Every Child; Education is one of the cornerstones of having a successful and purposeful life. Providing children with schools and learning materials is essential.
As a non-profit organization, Kings Care Foundation works in partnership with communities, local government officials, donors and volunteers to develop comprehensive programs for women and children, with programs aimed to increase the quality of life for women and children in Nigeria through education and economic empowerment, giving the tools and training for families and women to start their own small business, they tackle poverty among the most vulnerable in a sustainable way through to slowly lift the heavy burden of economic disadvantage from the shoulders of women and children.
In 2022 the foundation had massive Medical outreaches targeting two main markets in two different areas in Enugu; Kenyetta market in August and Garriki Market in October 2022. At kenyetta and Garriki market, Kings Care Foundation was able to attend to over 200 market women and men who had severe eye ailment, offered prescription and drugs to other minor ailments such as High blood pressure, Ulcer, Waist and joint pains, Migraine, Ear infection and Tooth Ache. The team of doctors gave free medical counselling to the aged women and advised the aged men on how to balance their meals. They also provided medical glasses for both long and short sightedness.
In January 2023, KCF distributed bags of rice amongst the widows in Atakwu, Akegbe ugwu community in Nkanu West local government Enugu state to mitigate the though times January usually comes with. Again January 28th, they set out again to conduct a medical outreach at Atakwu, Akegbe ugwu community, where their medical personnels were able to successfully attend to 102 aged men and women, distributed Vitamin Supplements, Malaria Drugs, Cough Syrup
Ulcer medication, Pain relief Tablets, Ear and Eye Drops, Anti-biotics for open injuries and Medical Glasses all at free cost.
Kings Care Foundation is incorporated in the state of Michigan with tax exemption status as a non-profit, under section 501 (c) (3) with their international headquarters located in Saginaw, Michigan. The foundation is also registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria as a charity organization.
In appreciation to the Foundation's Humanitarian Contributions to Nigerian Society, several awards of excellence have been accorded to KCF by civil society organisations, sociocultural groups and other bodies which include; An award of outstanding philanthropist presented to them in recognition of their contributions and great impact towards humanity on the 24th of July 2022 by Christ Ascension church Enugu, An award of excellence presented to them as the Icon of humanitarian service by Ohaneze Ndigbo youth Enugu East senetorial zone, An award of excellence presented to them during the Ignore Ekulie Cultural/Theaterical Night, etc.
