Ani has prioritized education by distributing 1,000 exercise books and other writing materials to each of the 54 government primary schools within Enugu North. Demonstrating his commitment to the health and well-being of the elderly, Hon. Ani launched a free medical care program specifically for senior citizens in his constituency. This four-year initiative aims to provide regular health check-ups and medical support, ensuring that the elderly receive the care they need.
Recall that Hon Ani, turned words into action in August 2023, barely 24 hours after his assumption of office by officially commencing and completing the reconstruction of a dilapidated 1-kilometer link road at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC), in fulfillment to a promise he made to the students during his election campaign. A remarkable project that did not only improved accessibility but also enhances the safety and convenience for students in the prestigious campus.
In a move to address food security and support his constituents, Hon. Ani distributed bags of rice and cash gifts to residents across the 13 wards of Enugu North during the last Christmas celebration. This act of generosity was extended during Easter with the 'Feed the Poor' project, where he provided meals and clothing to the indigent population, offering hope and a promise of a brighter future.
Understanding the importance of security and reliable energy, Hon. Ani spearheaded the installation of 195 solar street lights throughout the 13 wards of Enugu North Constituency. This project enhances night-time visibility, reduces crime, and contributes to a greener environment.
