"The government and the people of Enugu State are very excited. What we have witnessed here this evening is the reenactment of the greatness that Enugu is known for," Governor Mbah stated. I’m so excited that this has happened."

He emphasized the importance of hard work and meticulous planning in achieving success, commending the players' efforts on the pitch. "Success requires painstaking planning and hard work. And that is essentially what you have seen here today," he added.

Governor Mbah also highlighted his administration's efforts in improving sports infrastructure. "Getting our pitch back in shape immediately we assumed office to enable Rangers to play their home matches here at The Cathedral was a huge motivation for the players," he noted. He assured the people of Enugu of continued investments in building and upgrading world-class sports facilities.
